Dama Dama Games is an indie studio based in Lausanne, Switzerland. It comprises five people, working together on their first project, a co-op Tower Defense game called Tavernacle!. It was created in 2021, during the COVID pandemic, by a group of friends who had made games together as passion projects, and wanted to “go pro”.
History
Early historyAt the beginning of 2021, Frédéric Cottier, one of the studio members, gathered a group of friends he had been working with as hobbyists, and proposed that they create an indie game studio operating in a professional capacity. With that in mind, during the spring, the studio started to work on their first game, a co-op Tower Defense set in a fantasy world, where the players would work as a group of Dwarves protecting their brewery.
